Nokia Lumia 1020 Specs, Price, Release Date: Microsoft Windows Phone With 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Processor, 41 MP Camera W/ Carl Zeiss Lens Hitting U.K. Stores Sept. 25

Nokia Lumia 1020 release date for stores in the U.K. will be this September 25, after the company officially confirmed the launch with a tweet, “Lumia 1020 + UK= this Thursday.” The Windows Phone with 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor and 41 MP Camera with Carl Zeiss lens is now available for pre-order.

Nokia Lumia 1020 comes with a 4.5in screen with options for yellow, white or black back panels.

The Telegraph reports that one of the best thing future owners can look forward to in Lumia 1020 is the Pureview 41MP camera, which is alreading being dubbed as the best "camera phone" in the world. Nokia claims that users will be able to take some of the sharpest images possible to date on any mobile device or digital camera.

To help with the perfect photography, the device will come with an app called the Nokia Pro Camera. This app was designed to make sure that even an amateur using the device’s camera can take professional quality images. The user will simply use the settings of the app before or after taking the shots they need.

In addition to this, The Telegraph also reports that the phone will have dual capture. This means that it can simultaneously take two pictures: one for editing later and another for sharing straight to your social networks.

The optics will be from Zeiss and they will give users the option of choosing between 6 physical lenses. To improve the quality of the shots, the device also comes with optical image stabilization that Telegraph reports will allow to take crystal clear pictures even in dim light. Users will be amazed to hear that the camera can never capture a video with blurring and has stereo surround that will be clear even if recorded at a blaring concert. This is thanks to the Nokia Rich Recording microphone.

Telegraph states that the smartphone should be available on all major networks like Vodafone, EE and Carphone Warehouse. Those who choose to pre-order have the advantage of getting a free Nokia Camera Grip, wireless charging back panel and a tripod for taking camera shots. All these come to a total of 150 pounds saved.
