Britney Spears Las Vegas Residency Will Rake In $15 Million Per Year For The ‘Ooh La La’ Singer At Planet Hollywood

Britney Spears announced that she is heading to Las Vegas for a two-year residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Tuesday. Britney Spears will be making big bucks from her Las Vegas residency.

TMZ reports that Britney Spears' two-year contract calls for 48 shows a year at Planet Hollywood. According to the contract, Britney will earn $310,000 per show, totalling almost $15 million per year.

The 31-year-old pop star confirmed "Britney: Piece of Me" will debut December 27, just in time for Las Vegas' massive New Year's crowds, ABC News reports. Spears announced 16 dates at Planet Hollywood, but she will perform almost 50 shows each in 2014 and 2015.

But Britney Spears' contract doesn't beat Celine Dion's, TMZ reports. Celine does 70 shows a year, and sources say she makes about $476,000 a show.

According to TMZ, Britney's cut is huge, with projected sales per show at $508,514, meaning Brit will be snagging more than 60%.

Producers are shooting for a "cool, hip club-like show" at Planet Hollywood, TMZ reports.

Tickets for "Britney: Piece of Me" go on sale Sept. 20. Prices range from $59 to $179, ABC News reports.

On "Good Morning America," she said during the interview that the Las Vegas show will feature her greatest hits as well as new material.

"I'm definitely ready," she said, adding that she's training five hours each day, according ABC News.
