Madonna To Finally Release Her SECRET Project On September 24, ‘Like A Virgin’ Singer Unveiled Details Of Her Project

For months, Madonna has been giving hints about the secret project that she will be releasing. Last Tuesday, she finally revealed that the project was a 17-minute film that would promote freedom of expression.

Madonna teamed with VICE Media as well as BitTorrent for the creation and distribution of the project.

"My goal is to show by the example of secretprojectrevolution my creative commitment to inspire change in the world through artistic expression. I hope my film and other submissions to Art For Freedom will be a call-to-action and give people a place to voice their own creative expression to help fight oppression, intolerance and complacency," said the singer.

The video's director is Steven Klein who previously worked with Madonna for her concert backdrop videos. The film aspires to urge viewers to submit their own videos representing personal freedom and persecution. Such representations can be in video, poetry, music, and photography.

Madonna spearheaded the project upon noticing that "democracy doesn't seem to exist anymore." According to VICE Media chief creative officer Eddy Moretti, the singer wants to remove apathy: "Madonna is making a bold move, putting herself out there to support those suffering under repressive regimes around the world. Art For Freedom comes from a place of real empathy and emotion."
