Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Break Up 2013 Update: Actor's Big Brother Chris Weighs In On The Split
Just a day after it was announced that the Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth break up was official, Liam's big brother Chris Hemsworth decided to weigh in.
During his appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the "Thor" actor touched on how his sibling's involvement with Cyrus is always in the limelight, and how he and his wife Elsa Pataky are fortunate they don't have to deal with the same thing.
“Liam seems to get lots and lots of attention as far as paparazzi, and partially that was because of the relationship he’s been in,” Ellen said. “You don’t have that kind of paparazzi frenzy around you right now, do you?”
“No, no, not quite. I’m lucky. I’ve spoken to a few people about it. I don’t know that you can ever…It sort of is what it is. At times you’re a target and at times you’re not. If you have a film coming out or who you are dating and what have you…but, um, we’ve been lucky, my wife and I,” he said, according to Oh No They Didn't.
Chris admitted that compared to his little bro, his married life isn't too exciting.
“We kind of live a pretty simple boring kind of life," said Chris. "We’re not rolling out of clubs at 4 in the morning. Not to say that Liam is, by the way – well, he has once or twice!”
That is really how far the Miley and Liam conversation went. Chris went on talking about his own life with his one-year-old daughter India.
“She’s a little silverback gorilla…She’s great. She’s so physical and she has this thing of kind of kicking me in the head lately,” he said. “I lie next to her and it’s just boot in the face. But everything she can grab ahold of, it’s just about destroying it. She’s well-behaved, but she’s so physical.”
