'Glee' Season 5 Spoilers: Lea Michele To Sing The Beatles’ 'Yesterday' For Cory Monteith In The Premiere Episode

Despite Cory Montheith's sudden death, the show must go on for the whole cast of 'Glee'. Even his fiancé Lea Michele did not ask for a break and instead opted to continue working for the fifth season.

For the new season's premiere episode entitled 'Love,Love,Love' , Michele who plays the character of Rachel Berry will have a solo performance of 'Yesterday' by The Beatles.

The song is meant to express Berry's longing for her boyfriend Finn Hudson (Monteith). On September 16, the full song was officially released affecting fans in an emotional way.

"Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away. Now it looks as though they're here to stay. Why he had to go, I don't know." As Michele belted out the lyrics, viewers cannot help but wonder how the 'Glee' actress is coping up with the demise of Monteith.

The first two episodes of 'Glee' will serve as a recollection of The Beatles' songs. The season premiere will be airing on September 26.

On the other hand, the memorial episode for Monteith will air on October 10 wherein Michele will reportedly deliver the final song. According to one of the stars of 'Glee', the episode is by far the most difficult one that they have created due to its  heavy emotions.
