Zayne Malik Engagement NEWS: ‘One Direction’ Star To Marry Perrie Edwards In An Exotic Location Before This Year Ends; £1 Million Budget Allotted For The Wedding

Barely a month after Zayne Malik proposes to his 'Little Mix' singer girlfriend, insiders have claimed that the couple wanted to wed before 2014. The only thing preventing them from setting a date is their busy work schedules.

"They ideally want to be married by Christmas, preferably in an exotic location, and Zayn has promised that money is no object - there's talk of a £1 million budget. No one doubts they're crazy about each other, but plans are proving difficult as Zayn and Perrie are both so busy," a source revealed to British magazine Star.

The 20-year-old singer is currently busy promoting his film 'This Is Us' with band mates Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson. Edwards, 20, is similarly occupied with tours for her band.

The source similarly added that the couple considered tying the knot next year: "They've had to discuss waiting until next June, although neither of them wants to wait. Perrie has confided that she sometimes feels like the odds are stacked against them and that they're never going to find a date that works for everyone. Everything is up in the air."

Due to their young age, both their families are hoping that the two will have a long engagement: "Their families are reassuring them there's no need to rush and they have their whole lives ahead of them."

The young couple made their engagement public when Edwards appeared in the London premiere of 'This Is Us' with her engagement ring.
