UPDATE: iOS 7 Download; Interface On The Phone And IPad [VIDEOS]

We are just hours if not minutes away from waiting. Finally the iOS 7 will be available 1:00 p.m EST! Here is a brief overview of some of its new features the AirDrop, a new Control Centre, improved Notifications Centre, and the most obvious a new interface and appearance.

The operating system however will only be available from the latest phone release until the iPhone 4. So I guess this would entail an upgrade or prompt iPhone 3 and below users to upgrade.

The iOS 7 offers an API friendly interface. Craig Federighi, Senior Vice-President of Apple's software engineering arm said, "It's like getting a brand new device, but one that will be instantly familiar to our users."

The most notable difference of the iOS 7 is evident on its user interface. It obviously looks different to the previous operating system versions.

A flatter home screen is observed. The icons appear as if they're floating and has a sort of 3D effect. Professional users for businesses are expected to give the iOS 7 a nod as folder application limits were lifted - which meant completely removed. With just a swipe, the new Control Centre would appear which includes the Airplane mode, Wi-Fi activation, Bluetooth switch, brightness control and music play options.

There is an option that allows users to see what updates, changes, and modifications made on their phone during any period of inactivity. This feature is the NEW Notifications Centre, among the notifications included would be new messages, emails, or alerts.
