Zac Efron Dating Life Kept Secret As He Deals With Drug Addiction: 'He Cares So Much About Keeping His Private Life Private,' Says Source
As it was discovered that Zac Efron tried to keep his serious addiction to cocaine and molly on the hush, it was just revealed that he also attempted to keep his current dating life a secret.
A source told Hollywood Life that it wasn't a shocker that Efron managed to keep his road to rehab undercover since his long-term non-famous girlfriend remained out of the public eye.
“He’s had a serious girlfriend for a while now and he’s managed to keep that totally secret so I’m not surprised he was able to keep his trip to rehab secret for so long,” said a source.
After going to rehab five months ago, curious minds are wondering how Efron was capable of keeping this part of his life behind the scenes for so long. According to the close insider he is a "control freak."
“Zac is really good at keeping it together,” said source. “He’s a huge control freak and has always been obsessed with keeping his partying on the down low, this getting out is his worst nightmare. He cares so much about keeping his private life private.”
The insider also stressed that there are a lot others like Efron in Tinsel Town.
“Zac’s young and he likes to party,” the source said. “But it’s pretty standard in this town, everyone dabbles in drugs, it’s just a part of young Hollywood. Most of them just hide it well and Zac is a perfect example of that.”
Supposedly, Efrons struggle with drugs began on the set of Seth Rogen's upcoming movie "Neighbors."
