'Breaking Bad' Season 5 NEWS: Production Team To Sell Exclusive Items From The Show In A One-Day Charity Event

Viewers of 'Breaking Bad' who just can't get enough of the show will have the chance to own mementos from the television drama as it will hold a charity sale this coming weekend. The sale will take place this Saturday outside a Goodwill thrift store in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The city is similarly the setting for the story which revolves around Chemistry teacher-turned-meth-dealer Walter White.

Goodwill Industries of New Mexico spokeswoman Shauna O' Cleireachain mentioned that their nonprofit shop greatly assisted the production team of the hit show in sourcing appropriate furnishing and clothing for the episode. As an act of the show's gratitude, the production team has donated hundreds of items to Goodwill. The items will be sold to assist war veterans as well as unemployed individuals.


Some of the memorabilia which fans can look forward to are clothes, shoes, chemistry laboratory pieces, briefcases, hats with Drug Enforcement Administration logos , and other furnishings. The items will be on a first-come, first-served basis.


"It's the things that are in the background that you don't particularly pay attention to but are still part of the set," said O'Cleireachain.

'Breaking Bad', which will end on September 30, stars Bryan Cranston as White who deviated from his teaching job and started manufacturing the illegal drug methamphetamine to support his family's finances after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.


Apart from Cranston's three Best Actor Emmy Awards, the show has been nominated as well for six Primetime Emmy Awards.
