iTunes Free Download: Users Encounter iTunes Problems After Upgrading To iOS 7, Report Server Issues

A couple of days ago, the iPhone-owning community rejoiced to see a major update to their favorite smartphone platform. But those who were able to get their hands on the new update are now having issues using iTunes. If you are one of the many iPhone owners who are having problems with iTunes free download and services, then you may want to check this update.

According to CNet, several users have experienced problems and other issues in accessing iTunes after they made the jump to iOS 7. The website reports that a lot of Twitter rants and posts on Apple's support site show the widespread effect of this issue, not only in iPhone owners but also those who own iPads, and the iPod touch.

On the other hand, those who are still trying to update their devices are encountering 'software update failed' issues which only add up to the whole problem. If you're already halfway downloading a 600-900MB update and then suddenly it says the update failed, that's just annoying.

CNet says the download size for the iOS 7 will vary depending on the device you are using. Old iPhone and iPad owners should expect at least 600MB of installation download, while newer devices get up to 900MB. Make sure you have enough storage space as iOS 7 will need up to 3GB of storage to get installed.

Still, Apple said that their servers are working just fine and that users would eventually succeed in updating their devices. We'll keep you posted on this one.
