Block B Comeback After 1 Year ‘No Hard Feelings Towards Cho PD or Stardom’

On October 2nd, Block B held its comeback with their 3rd mini-album Very Good. They commented, "Since we took a year's break, there have been many concerns that Block B might have lost its color. We assure you that we're coming back with an upgraded color."

Block B held a press conference on October 3rd at the Seoul Koryeo University  Gymnasium, where they said, "There's no reason to be nervous about our long respite. We were able to use that time to polish our individual skills. Even the October comeback team didn't know too well because they were so focused on us."

Zico said, "Since a lot of our favorite artists are holding their comeback in October, I think it'll be more exciting for us. Jaehyo said, "During our break, I was able to interact with other singers' songs as a trainee, and not as a fellow singer."

Regarding the controversy with Cho PD, they said, "We have no hard feelings towards Stardom Entertainment or Cho PD. In fact, he even sent us a supportive message yesterday."

Zico said, "We decided to go down a different route because previously we had differing opinions. Now we can support each other as we split ways."

Block B's new song "Very Good" is a bright, upbeat song with a light rhythm, and is their first song to be released in a year.

Zico said, "This song is one that proves our confidence that we are the best, and is a testament that exciting songs and moods are the best. It's more perfect than our previous album, so we hope you enjoy listening to this album." The current album was written, composed, and produced by Zico himself. He commented, "Since I spent so much time with the members, I was able to easily identify each individual's personality and find genres that match them the best. If there's one challenge that remains, it's that the individual spectrum might not be good enough."

He continued, "'Very Good' is a song we've been working on since April, and there have been a lot of unexpected twists and turns along the way. It was difficult to mix a lot of different genres to create this song, but we are finally finished with this difficult project."

Recently, Block B endured problems with Cho PD and their former agency Stardom Entertainment. They even took the case to court, but the judge ruled in the agency's favor. For now, Block B will be returning to their musical activities.
