KARA’s Japanese Album “Super Girl” Crowned Triple Platinum

KARA’s popularity in Japan is showing no stop.

The January million single/album released by the Recording Industry Association of Japan on February 10 shows that KARA’s Japanese second album “Super Girl” released last November has been awarded triple platinum.

Triple Platinum is awarded for artists who have sold over 750,000 copies. This milestone was achieved within 3 months of its release. This is significant that KARA was able to climb to the top of the Oricon Weekly Charts for albums without any special promotions.

“Super Girl” album includes the hit Japanese song “Jet Coaster Love,” “Go Go Summer,” “Winter Magic” and among others.
KARA is currently preparing for their Asian Tour “KARASIA” which will kick off by opening a two day concert at Seoul’s Olympic Park Gymnastic Stadium on February 18-19.

“KARASIA” is their first solo concert tour since the group debut with their 1st Korean album “Blooming” in 2007.
