What's Up This Week with....Girls' Generation! [Week of 9/29-10/05]
Another week has quickly gone by, and Girls' Generation makes another set of appearances as a group and individually.
First, foremost, Girls' Generation received an award for lookin' "good in dem jeans". Specifically them Samantha Thavasa jeans from their "Galaxy Supernova" music video.
You read that right. On October 2nd, the members of Girls' Generation received a fan-voted award at the Japan Jeans Conference Sponsorship where they won "people who look good in jeans". Ken Watanabe and Arashi were also nominated and recognized for the award as well.
In addition to appearances, Tiffany, Yuri, and Yoona attended the VIP movie premiere of "Tough As Iron" on September 30, 2013 in Seoul. Sporting their own style of dresses, the three members greeted and posed for members of the press.
On that same day, Yuri also attended the production briefing for her movie "No Breathing".
Alongside were her co-stars, two of this generation's top heartthrobs, Lee Jongsuk and Seo Inguk who also answered questions, and posed for pictures for the media.
"No Breathing" is set to premiere on Halloween, October 31, 2013.
And finally, the energy pill of the group, Sunny, became the MC for the day on October 5, 2013 on this week's episode of "Quiz to Change the World".
Staff members of the program accounted that her aegyo and experience of being an MC in the past were evidently shown to bring a bright and fun episode.
