IU to Release 'Modern Times' Album at Midnight

Singer IU will be releasing her new album at midnight on October 7 KST.

Unlike the usual noon release for K-pop artists, she has chosen to release it at midnight.

Her third album, Modern Times, will be released at 12AM on October 8.

This is her first comeback after 1 year and 5 months since her last album from May 2012.

IU decided to release the album at midnight because the songs were more jazz style, which would match the mood better.

She will also be holding a showcase on October 8 as well.
