INFINITE Takes “One Great Step” To Singapore And Charms Fans: "I Love You More Than Anything In The World"

INFINITE returned to Singapore with a full-fledged concert after three years. The much anticipated 2013 INFINITE 1st World Tour 'One Great Step' was held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 5 to an audience of more than 4,000 fans and INFINITE proved that they were worth the wait as they pulled off an impressive show.

Right from the start, the popular K-Pop boy group worked their charms. The group, consisting of Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L and Sungjong, left quite an impression as the members first appeared jailed and chained on stage. INFINITE opened the concert with hit song "Destiny" and showed off their powerful and highly-synchronized moves. They performed several of their chart toppers such as "Paradise", "Be Mine" and "Man In Love" and made fans go wild with delight with their amazing choreographed dance complete with pyrotechnics and laser effects. The hip-thrusts and scorpion dance, which were the crowd's favourites, left many fans screaming for more.

The talk segments were conducted in English and the boys did their best to interact with fans without the help of a translator. Maknae Sungjong even stunned the audience as he said "I love you more than anything in the World" in four languages, English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil, and caused cheers to erupt from every corner of the stadium.

Dongwoo promised, "Since you've been waiting for this for a really, really long time, I will make tonight unforgettable," and made fans swoon as he did an impromptu sexy, full of swagger dance. The other members were not lacking behind and they flirted, did aegyo and a multitude of fanservices. Much to the fans delight, some members even snapped 'selcas' with the fan's camera phones. Woohyun, known by fans as the greasy one of the seven, blew kisses to the fans until his fellow group member, Hoya, could not stand it any longer and asked him to stop.

INFINITE surprised the fans as they performed a very Singaporean song. "Singapura, oh Singapura", the boys sang as they added a new twist to one of Singapore's most iconic songs. "Request", the new single released by INFINITE was also performed in Singapore for the second time. During one of the interludes, the fans got treated to a feast for the eyes as the boys stripped and danced in front of bright red, flashing LED screens for a silhouette dance.

The members got to show off their different charms too with their solo stages and collaborative segments. Sungyeol and Sungjong transformed the stadium into a club and got the audience hyped up with their energetic and dynamic dance. The hip-hop duo, Dongwoo and Hoya took over the stage with "Special Girl" from their sub-unit INFINITE-H, while the charmer Woohyun, got to his knees and presented a very-lucky fan with a rose, a ring, and a pat on the head for his solo stage.

L serenaded while he strummed the guitar and captured the hearts of fans everywhere with his dazzling shy smile and adorable gestures with a teddy bear on stage. But it was Sunggyu that stole the show. His live performance of his hit song "60 seconds" brought the stadium to a near hush as the audience held their breaths to listen to the leader sing. It was brilliant.

Singaporean Inspirits gathered together and pulled off a fan project, named the white light project, as INFINITE sang to "Still I Miss You" and "Mom". The fan project was largely successful, and the sea of pearl metal gold transformed to a sea of white lights during the two songs, leaving a good memory for the boys on stage and the fans.

For the encore, INFINITE brought back memories as they performed a remix version of their debut song "Come Back Again". INFINITE showed their gratitude and expressed their love for the fans nearing the end of the concert. Sungyeol said, "I can feel and see your love. We promise to show you more next time and we'll visit you more. I love you."

INFINITE ended their approximately 3-hours long concert as the confetti fell with 90-degree bows at every corner of the stage, and the boys promised to be back in Singapore, hopefully sometime soon!
