iPad Mini 2 Release Date Rumors: Next-Gen 7.9-Inch Apple Tablet Arriving In The Market By Mid-November After October 15 Launch?

Even though Apple is not yet making any official statement regarding iPad Mini 2 release date, it seems that the arrival of the iOS tablet is happening very soon.

Apple is expected to hold a launch event for its upcoming iOS products on October 15. Previously, it was speculated that it will also be the iPad Mini 2 release date, alongside the unveiling of the full-sized next-gen tablet, the iPad 5.

If the iPad Mini 2 release date will be set for at some time around this month, then, most probably, the new iOS device will be available in the market in November. Apple usually releases its new products two weeks or less after the official launch event event. Thus, if the new iPad Mini will be unveiled this October, the iPad Mini 2 release date will most likely take place around mid-November, as Gotta Be Mobile posted.

However, there are also rumors that the iPad Mini 2 release date may be delayed, and Apple fans may not able to see in until 2014. However, folks at Gotta Be Mobile said, "skeptical as the source has been wrong in the past." The post further reads, "Apple also loves to please its customers so it would be strange to see a non-Retina iPad mini 2 get released in 2013 ahead of a Retina Display variant in 2014.

As for the iPad Mini 2 specs, the device is expected to arrive with A7 chip, the processor which can be found on the recently-released iPhone 5S. Moreover, as posted on Christian Today, the smaller iOS tablet may also feature the all new M7 chip, which is a motion co-processor, also used in the iPhone 5S. iPad Mini 2, as well as the iPad 5 is also set to have Retina display.

More news and updates about iPad Mini 2 release date will definitely emerge as October 15 nears.
