Install Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean On HTC One; Firmware Available For Users in Canada

The official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean rolls out to HTC One.

Particularly, the firmware for the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is now available for HTC One units in Canada, as reported by Christian Post. The initial iteration of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One was rolled out to Taiwan last week.

After the release in Taiwan, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware came for the factory unlocked and developer editions of the HTC One.

And most recently, official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update was released for the HTC One units in Canada. The firmware can be installed to HTC One under various network carriers such as Virgin Mobile, Bell, Rogers, and TELUS.

For the US users of HTC One, it is expected that the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will arrive at some point in the future.

The official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One offers new features to the multi-user mode that can be accessed by tablets with installed Jelly Bean software. There is a new restricted profile available, which lets the owners to customize the accessibility of the device for other users.

On Christian Post, it reads, "In this restricted mode, apps will be available to multiple profiles, but they will function differently. In-app purchases will not be available in restricted profiles so children will be prevented from making unwanted transactions."

Bluetooth Smart is also available on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, allowing the device to perform more activity, which makes use of Bluetooth, without using up too much power. Users of HTC One will be able to pair a number of Bluetooth-enabled devices to those using Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
