Justin Bieber Sings Selena Gomez Is a `Heartbreaker’ in New Single; Part of `Music Mondays’ Series

Justin Bieber hasn't gotten over Selena Gomez. Justin Bieber released his new single, "Heartbreaker," on Sunday night as part of his new "Music Mondays" series and it sounds like the Bieb is singing about his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

Justin Bieber's Selena Gomez "Heartbreaker" is the first new music the Canadian singer has released since "Believe: Acoustic." "Heartbreaker" is an R&B ballad titled that seems to refer to his romance with Selena Gomez. 

Justin Bieber put out a teaser for his new single, "Heartbreaker," a couple months ago, with a Twitter message pointing straight at Selena Gomez. On Sunday night, the 19-year-old singer finally released the track officially. Justin Bieber debuted the new song at midnight as a part of his "Music Mondays" series where Justin Bieber will put out a new track each week. "Heartbreaker" is expected to be the lead single off Justin Bieber's upcoming album. Because the new songs are so personal, Bieber has been calling the album his "music journals."

On the Selena Gomez-inspired "Heartbreaker," Justin sings "So what I'm really tryin' to say is, and what I hope you understand/ Is despite all the imperfections of who I am I still wanna be your man. This is for me and you/And I want you to know that I still love you."

Justin Bieber's "Music Mondays" is set to run new music for ten weeks.

Justin Bieber took to Twitter to explain the song, tweeting "It's a song for people going through heartbreak - like I was when I wrote it."

He added "It means so much to me to be able to share what I was, and still am going through, with my fans. I'm very proud of this song and I hope it gives my fans some insight into my heart."

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez broke up last November.

In an interview with "Good Morning America," Selena Gomez said "He and I have such a history together. I'll always care about him and protect him if anyone tries to be mean."
