‘Parks And Recreation’ Season 6: Rashida Jones, Rob Lowe Exit Will Be ‘Really Sad,’ Adam Scott Says

The biggest spoiler for "Parks and Recreation" season 6 was that Rashida Jones, who plays Ann Perkins, and Rob Lowe, who plays Chris Traeger, will be leaving "Parks and Recreation" after episode 13. Adam Scott opens up and expresses how he feels about Rashida Jones' and Rob Lowes' exit in season 6.

Adam Scott, who plays Ben Wyatt on "Parks and Recreation," spoke to Rolling Stone about his new show "A.C.O.D." and about the future of "Parks and Rec" and what is to come on the show.

Rolling Stone said: "Just from the first episode, it seems like there could be a lot of change coming for everybody."

To which Adam Scott agreed, saying "Yeah, I think that's true."

Rolling Stone then asked Scott about Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones leaving "Parks and Recreation" this season.

"Have you shot the final episodes with them?" Rolling Stone asked.

"No, no. That's coming up. I'm not sure when, but I know it's coming up. And it's going to be really sad," Scott said.

Currently, season 6 of "Parks and Recreation" is following the plot line of Ann and Chris expecting a baby together. As we previously reported, the on-again-off-again couple are expected to go through some big decision-making next season, before they leave the show in episode 13.

In episode 2 of "Parks and Recreation," April and Ann take a road trip to Bloomington for April to check out the veterinary school, and Anne suddenly realizes that Pawnee may not be the best place to raise a child with Chris, Hollywood.com reports. This could prove as the reason behind Rob and Rashida's exit later - they may move somewhere to provide a better home for their child.

Rob Lowe is set to star in "The Pro" for NBC after leaving "Parks and Recreation," according to Deadline.

"The Pro" is a single-camera workplace comedy that Lowe will star in and executive produce, The Huffington Post reports. Pete Huyck and Alex Gregory ("The Larry Sanders Show," "Frasier") are set to write the pilot and serve as showrunners, while Todd Holland will direct.
