Upcoming Windows 8 Phones: Nokia Lumia 1520 Phablet Shot Beside iPhone 4s In Leaked Live Images

The Nokia Lumia 1520 has been making the rounds on the Web for quite some time now. With its sleek interface, enormous screen and top-notch camera, this is certainly one of the best upcoming Windows 8 phones to come out this year. And it's not officially out yet!

A couple of weeks before Nokia's event in Abu Dhabi, another live image of an alleged Nokia Lumia 1520 made its way to GSM Arena. But unlike previous shots where it was photographed alone, this time it sits beside Apple's best iPhone from two years ago. 

From what we can see, there is a very large disparity as far as screen size is concerned. With a display measuring 6 inches, the Lumia 1520 a.k.a. the Bandit is the first, and most likely the last phablet every to be released by the Finnish manufacturer. 

Aside from the display, the Windows phone is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 1080p resolution, and a 20MP PureView camera with CarlZeiss flash. 

In addition, there will also be 32GB of internal memory, though it may lack microSD support. 

The Lumia 1520 is set to be announced on October 22 in Abu Dhabi, together with the Lumia 2520 tablet, and other devices.
