To look at him from the outside, Walter Mitty doesn't look like he's got much going for him. Walter Mitty has a good job. He's the photo manager at Life Magazine. Life Magazine may be folding in the movie, but Walter Mitty has another secret life where he is anyting but invisible.

Ben Stiller is remaking "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" which starred Danny Kaye. It is based on the short story by James Thurber and it looks like he's going to let his imagination soar. It looks like the former slacker from Greenburg and Permanent Midnight (which I think still holds up as Stiller's best performance) found some ambition. Stiller's "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" looks positively cinematic.
