Nina Dobrev Dating Derek Hough? Spotted Running From Paparazzi With New Boyfriend In Matching Outfits

A new photo of Nina Dobrev and Derek Hough may prove that they are dating. Nina Dobrev and Derek Hough, her possible new boyfriend, were spotted running from paparazzi - and they were wearing similar outfits!

Nina Dobrev and boyfriend Derek Hough were photographed together, trying to dodge paparazzi outside of the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles on October 5, Hollywood Life reports. They darted in separate directions, making sure not to hold hands or stand too close to one another. Their awkward positioning and facial expressions suggest they may be shy about their new dating status.

They were both dressed casually, in similar, matching outfits. Nina wore a black tank top, jeans, and brown ankle boots, with a red bag. Derek also wore jeans and brown boots, but with a gray shirt and beanie.

Earlier, the 28-year-old professional dancer and 24-year-old "Vampire Diaries" star spent the evening at Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights with friends, including Dobrev's best friend and Derek's sister Julianne Hough, as well as Lily Collins, E! News reports. Selena Gomez, Emile Hirsch, Francesca Eastwood and Jeff Beacher were all spotted together at the Halloween event too.

Dobrev split from her Vampire Diaries ex Ian Somerhalder in May after dating for over three years.

As we recently reported, Nina Dobrev couldn't make it to the 2013 Emmy Awards a few weeks ago, but she congratulated Derek Hough for his Emmy award win for Outstanding Choreography. Her three Instagram posts to Derek made it seem like they were dating, and that he may be her newboyfriend.

"@Derekhough !!!!!!!! #EMMYWINNER I cant express in 140 characters how unbelievably excited+incredibly proud I am of you. You deserve this :)" Nina captioned a photo of Derek with his Emmy award.

She posted another picture on her Instagram, with Julianne and Derek on the red carpet at the 2013 Emmy Awards: "@juleshough You looked absolutely STUNNING last night ! @derekhough I wish I wasnt filming so I could have been there to celebrate w/u guys!" Nina Dobrev wrote.

The third photo came with a heartfelt message that may only be reserved for a boyfriend: "@derekhough Those of us touched by your light got to watch you brighten up the rest of the world. Keep shining!https://youtu.be/3lf6Qe7XAok"

Derek responded to Nina Dobrev's Instagram photos with a simple and sweet Twitter post: "Your the best babe."
