Kickstarter Campaign: Tikker 'Death' Watch Tells The Time...You Have Left On Earth

There are a lot of interesting Kickstarter campaign projects out there, and if you look at them closely, you will see how brilliant (or strange) the human mind works. Now, this campaign is a device that would allegedly tell you when you're time is up...on this planet.

The watch project submitted by the Tikker team will be delivered to pledgers of $39 and above, though you may need to add another $100 if you're outside of the US.

The concept of the watch is simple: it tells time, but it also tells you when your time is up. The team stressed the importance of 'making every second count' in everything people do. Whether it's mending relationships, making decisions or having fun, people should know the fact that our biological clock indeed has a time limit.

Initially, the user will fill out a short health-related questionnaire which tackles certain habits (smoking, drinking, sleeping). His age would then be subtracted from the results, until the watch comes up with the estimated time of your demise. We still don't know exactly how this process works, but it is certainly interesting to note that as of this writing, there are already 628 backers to the project.

With still 23 days to go, and with a target of $25,000, the Tikker project is off to a nice start. Backers have already pledged over $28,000.

Would you want this kind of watch?
