Final Fantasy X To Release Figures Alongside HD Remake, VI Confirmed For iOS And Android As Square Enix Announces North America Release For Drakengard 3

It's been a busy week for Square Enix, with Final Fantasy X HD remake getting a simultaneous figure release and Final Fantasy XI announced for the iOS and Android.

Although an exact release date for the Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD remake has yet to be announced, Square Enix has put up Play-Arts figures for pre-order for 8,800 yen each.

According to JustPushStart, just Yuna and Tidus figures have been announced, but expect more to be announced as the winter season draws closer.

As of right now, Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD remake is still expected to release the end of this year for PS3 and PS Vita.

Another Final Fantasy re-release is Final Fantasy VI, this time for the iOS and Android.

This is yet another iOS addition for Square Enix, as Final Fantasy I through V have all been released for the mobile system.

According to TouchArcade, the game has been revamped so players "don't have to fight as much and can enjoy the game for what it is," according to producer Takashi Tokita.

Meanwhile, Square Enix is also busy with non-Final Fantasy titles.

Kotaku has reported that Drakengard 3 will be coming to North America and Europe for the PS3.

"A prequel to the original Drakengard, Drakengard 3 transports players to a medieval world where six goddess-like sisters known as 'Intoners' have brought peace to the earth with their power to manipulate magic through song," says the official Square Enix description.

"Harmony is disrupted, however, when the eldest sister, Zero, attempts to murder her younger sisters with the help of her dragon companion, Mikhail. As the story progresses, players find themselves in a battle to unravel the mystery of Zero and learn her true intentions."
