Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Mini Already In Development [RUMOR]; New Device From The South-Korean Smartphone Manufacturer Spotted In India?

A Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Mini may already be in the works.

There are rumors suggesting that the South Korean smartphone manufacturer may be extending its line for the "Mini" to its highly-popular Samsung Galaxy Note series.

Fresh reports are circulating online that may suggest the existence of a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Mini. Based on a report from Into Mobile, a new information was found from Zauba website, which tracks the imports and exports to and from India. One of the shipments from the Delhi Air Cargo features a pair of Samsung mobile devices, bearing SM-P601 as its model number.

The post reads, "...this model is pretty close to SM-N601 that was discovered a month ago, and which was thought to be a Galaxy Tab 10 successor. However, the newly found device has a 5.25-inch screen making it ideal for any "Mini" version of the Galaxy Note 3."

Meanwhile, a post from The News Tribe that this potential Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Mini may also be the smaller version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. It was mentioned on the report, citing the documentation (posted above this article), that the device is a 'mini' version of another model. The devices are valued at 33508 Rupees, which is equivalent to $542.30 US dollars.

Samsung is one of the first phone makers to create a mini version of its flagship devices. The Galaxy S3 Mini was released in 2012 as the compact version of its then-flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S3. This year, the Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched, and its mini variant was later introduced in the market.

There are reports suggesting that the new phablet, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, will have a number of several versions. This led experts to believe that the device found in India may  be the 'Mini' variant of the 2013 Samsung phablet.
