Kris And Bruce Jenner Split: Is Kris Jenner To Be Blamed? Clues Scattered On Keeping Up With Kardashians

Kris and Bruce Jenner split confirmation came early on Tuesday even as everybody was busy contemplating Khloe’s separation from her emotionally troubled husband Lamar Odom.

The announcement took everybody by surprise but a source close to the couple say that the tension or indifference between the two of them was very much visible on the show Keeping up with Kardashians.

We always wondered why did Bruce not object that the show be named Keeping up With Jenners?

Kris and Bruce Jenner had been happily married since 22 years, until yesterday. According to Karen Houghton, Kris’ sister, the couple split almost a year back but they came out with the truth yesterday.

Houghton in a way blamed Kris for the turmoil, stating that Kris has been engaging in inappropriate behavior of late, which irked Bruce.

Sources on the sets of reality show Keeping up with Kardashians also said that the power equation was clearly unbalanced, weighing more towards Kris who called the shots.

Last year, Bruce was visibly annoyed at the presence of Todd Waterman, Kris’ ex while she was married to Robert Kardashian, in their Hidden Hills home that serves as the set for the reality show.

Perhaps Kris’ desire for fame and a glitzy lifestyle took a toll on her relationship. In creating too much drama for the reality show, the matriarch Kardashian seemed to have forgotten that this would affect her marital life.

Maybe it was not Kris’ fault after all. After the reality show took off, Kris has become the wealthier half in the relationship while Bruce wanted a peaceful life, away from all the glamour that Kris held so dear. Isn’t it how tinsel town marriages end?

In a statement to E! News, Kris and Bruce said, "We are much happier this way (living separately. But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."
