Upcoming Android Phones 2013: Pantech Releases Galaxy Note 3 'Killer' In Korea, Features Fingerprint Sensor

Only a few chosen people have probably heard about Korean manufacturer Pantech, but don't take this company lightly. Yesterday, the manufacturer unveiled its new Vega Secret Note in an event. As one of the upcoming Android phones in 2013, this will surely be a hit particularly in the Asian market.

Packing a 5.9" display with 1080p resolution, Pantech's phablet is pretty much the same size as Samsung's Note 3. But the similarities do not end in the phone's outer design. It also has its own stylus.

The Vega Secret Note also boasts the same Snapdragon 800 SoC, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP primary shooter, and a front cam that can shoot full HD videos.

If you're not yet impressed, the phone also has full connectivity support, 32GB of internal memory, a microSD slot, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

But what separates the Secret Note from the Note 3 is the fingerprint sensor, which could be the deciding factor for most consumers. Here are several official snapshots of the phablet:

As seen from the photos, the device look a little bulky, thanks to the 3,200mAh battery for more juice.

According to the report by GSM Arena, the Pantech Vega Secret Note will retail at around $839, and will come in black and white variants.
