LG G2 Specs, Price And Release Date: Review Of Button On Back Gets Negative Response Saying 'Old Habits Are Hard To Break'

LG G2 specs, price and release date: The new smartphone that has been released in the U.S. by Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile actually gets a negative review for what the company tried using to make it more unique than other smartphones.

USA Today gave a review of the LG G2 specs, especially the back of the phone. This is where LG decided that the back of the phone would have a special button with different functions, but the review gave it a try and as it turns out, dislikes the feature.

"That move is what holds the phone back. LG's designers made an ergonomic decision. The rear of the phone is where your index finger usually is when the device is held up to your ear during a call, and you can blindly tell when your finger lands on the power key as opposed to the up or down volume keys. LG says folks are also less prone to drop the phone because they don't have to fumble with the device while changing their grip," the review read.

The review also noted that the phone company is in the back of the line compared to others like Apple, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, Nokia or Blackberry.

"But old habits are hard to break, and we do a lot more than make or receive calls with today's smartphones. Whenever I went to adjust the volume while watching a YouTube video or listening to music, my natural inclination was to reach to the sides. For better or worse, we've been schooled on doing it one way, and now LG is forcing us to think differently. I'm not suggesting change shouldn't be embraced, or even admired, only that I never could get comfortable with the placement of the controls," the review added.
