Latest On Malala Yousafzai: Meets President Obama, Jon Stewart, Dianne Sawyer, And Gains Supports From Selena Gomez, Beyonce And Other Celebrities; Her Journey Continues Even After Nobel Peace Prize Miss [PHOTOS AND VIDEOS]

Who is Malala (Yousafzai)?

Malala Yousafzai is a sixteen-year-old-teenager and native of Swat Valley in her country Pakistan. It was a peaceful town until the Taliban arrived in 2004.The Taliban took over the town and banned education for girls. Malala a young 11-year-old back then realized the importance of education. In 2009 the Taliban reached the peak of its terrorism. They destroyed everything including schools and left the town in shambles. Malala back then started to advocate for her town's access for education for girls.
Malala appeared on The Daily Show hosted by Jon Stewart. She mentioned during her interview that the Taliban did not want women to be educated because it will empower women. Jon Stewart later on proceeded to ask Malala what she thought after she learnt she was targeted by Taliban because of her advocacy. Her answerleft Jon Stewart speechless.

I started thinking about that, and I used to think that the Talib would come, and he would just kill me. But then I said, 'If he comes, what would you do Malala?' then I would reply to myself, 'Malala, just take a shoe and hit him.' But then I said, 'If you hit a Talib with your shoe, then there would be no difference between you and the Talib. You must not treat others with cruelty and that much harshly, you must fight others but through peace and through dialogue and through education.' Then I said I will tell him how important education is and that 'I even want education for your children as well.' And I will tell him, 'That's what I want to tell you, now do what you want.'

Then Jon Stewart aware that Malala's father is waiting backstage kiddingly asked if its "alright if I adopt you?"
She just met President Barrack Obama (read the report here) Dianne Sawyer have interviewed her (for details click here) Also celebrities turn to social media to express their support for Malala and her cause.

Malala Yousafzai may not received the Nobel Peace Prize this year but it her journey doesn't end, in her own words, "my journey just started." This writer concurs with her, and honestly thinks it would be too early for her to receive the award. To receive the award this early would defeat the sole purpose for what the award body is aimed to do. Therefore though less famous than Malala right now, the Nobel Peace Prize winner this year truly deserved it more.
