MacBook Air With Retina Display Release Date Set For 2014; Refreshed Apple MacBook Pro Arriving On October 22 [RUMORS]

New reports about MacBook Air are emerging, amidst the rumors about the imminent arrival of upcoming products.

As posted on International Business Times, Macbook Air with Retina Display release date may be set for next year.

This claim came from a market research company called DisplaySearch, saying that Apple will launch a new MacBook Air with Retina display. As posted on the report, citing David Hsieh's investor's note, "Apple may have strayed away from its top position as an early adopter in display technology. However, this is about to change next year as Apple will innovate its upcoming products in the late 2013 to 2014."

MacBook Air gets rave reviews particularly about its longer battery life but it also received disapprovals for not having a high resolution screen display. But it may change as early as next year, with MacBook Air with Retina Display release date rumored to set for 2014. The latest MacBook Air is equipped with Intel's Haswell processor, 12-hour battery life, and it packs 802.11 ac wi-fi for faster connectivity.

Apple is expected to unveil new products this month, with recent rumors pointing to October 22 event of the Cupertino-based tech firm. Reportedly, mobile devices such as the iPad 5 and the upgraded iPad Mini will arrive. Furthermore, Apple fans are also waiting for the Macbook Pro 2013, which is also rumored to launch during Apple's media event on October 22.

The Macbook Pro 2013 is believed to have faster Wi-fi connectivity, higher storage options and longer battery life. It may also be equipped with Thunderbolt 2 GPU and 4K screen resolution.
