Miley Cyrus Is Genuinely Happy Now That She’s Free From Liam Hemsworth: ‘Wrecking Ball’ Singer Says That Her Whole Album Is About Her Ruined Relationship

Despite reports that Liam Hemsworth is already dating a new girl, 20-year-old Miley Cyrus admits that she is relishing the fact that she's now single and free. In an interview for 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', the 'Wrecking Ball' singer opened up about her break-up with her former fiancé.

For weeks, Cyrus remained silent about her ruined engagement with the 'Paranoia' actor for she was too busy promoting her latest album, 'Bangerz'.

In November 2012, the former Disney star was already interviewed by DeGeneres which did not escape the talk show host's memory: "The last time you were here, I threw you an engagement party!"

"Do you want your money back?" Cyrus wittingly replied. She added that the media attention surrounding the break-up did not really affect her for she was already used to issues.

"I think people spend more time actually thinking about it than I really do. I just believe when a chapter is done, you have to close it and start that new one. That's kind of where I am right now. I felt like I have so much to be thankful for at this time that my energy hasn't really been focused on that," claimed the 'So Undercover' actress.

Cyrus similarly confirmed that her latest album revolved around her relationship with the Australian hunk: "The whole album is a story of that. I think it says that with starting with "Adore You" and ending with "Someone Else" is I feel like you can really find like this arch of like growth and I didn't even know as much of... until I really listened to it now that it's done and I have like my physical copy and I put it in my car. I'm like, this is really like telling a story. I think I knew more intuitively where my life was going then I actually thought I did at the time."

For fans who are wondering how the young star is coping up with the break-up, there's nothing to worry for Cyrus is truly happy being alone: "I want to be really clear and determined with everything I'm doing in my life right now and I have been... I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been and that's not even a dig. That's just me because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are. I've never been able to just be alone and I'm obsessed with being alone and like hearing my thoughts."

The couple, who met in the set of 'The Last Song', officially parted ways in mid-September. Hemsworth is now rumoured to be going out with Mexican star Eiza Gonzales.
