‘Walking Dead’ Season 4 To Have Calm And Death-Free Pilot Episode: What Are The Catastrophes That Will Follow The Quietness?

All past seasons of the death-filled series 'The Walking Dead' started with too much adrenaline. In each season, the survivors were running and looking for a haven that promised security. In Season 2, this haven was a farm whereas in Season 3, the survivors ironically went to a prison to escape the hungry zombies.

However, Season 4 will have a quieter start. The heroes are still inhabiting the prison where they have developed a system for living peacefully. Meals are prepared in a communal kitchen, children go to school, and new romances have managed to develop.

The creators of 'The Walking Dead' recognizes the need for a break and after the human fights, mass murder, and death of pivotal characters in the third season, they have decided to have a hushed pilot episode which happened to be a big risk.

Nonetheless, hints of calamities that are about to come are still included in the first few opening episodes of the series. One example is the strange increase in strollers outside the prison's fence as well as a Mother Nature-caused occurrence which left the prison devastated.

New characters will similarly be introduced in the new season specifically 'The Wire' actor Larry Gilliard who will assume the role of a former Army medic.

Having 16 episodes, 'Walking Dead' Season 4 will premiere on October 14.
