Kylie Minogue broke up with Andres Velencoso after five years.

UsMagazine.com reported that Australian-born pop star Kylie Minogue broke up with her boyfriend, Spanish model Andres Velencoso, after five years.

The Sun reported that Kylie Minogue, who has had number one hits in every decade since the 80s, split with the Spanish model because of her hectic work schedule.

A spokesman for Kylie Minogue told The Sun that the break-up was "amicable".

A friend of Kylie Minogue and Andres Valencoso told UsMagazine.come "It was more of a time thing -- they didn't get much of it together. There was no fallout, they're still friends, just not lovers anymore. She's doing all right -- she throws herself into her work during times like this and she's got so much work going on at the moment."

Kylie Minogue has gone through a string of failed romances over the years. Kylie Minogue had a famous relationships with the late Australian rocker Michael Hutchence of Inxs and the French actor Olivier Martinez. Olivier Martinez is married to Hollywood star Halle Berry. The couple had a baby boy in Los Angeles last week.

It was announced last month that Minogue will join the British version of The Voice as one of the coaches in the new series of the TV talent show.
