Katy Perry SNL Performances "Roar"- Louder Than Miley Cyrus Last Week? [VIDEO]

Katy Perry appeared on Saturday Night Live this weekend, performing two hit songs on the show. [WATCH VIDEO BELOW!]

While Miley Cyrus both hosted and performed "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball" on "Saturday Night Live" last week, her rival Katy Perry just performed--although the colorful costumes on offer were, in themselves, quite an act.

Perry may have not appeared in sketches, but she performed her hit "Roar" and new single "Walking On Air".

For "Roar", Perry, 28, and her backing band wore animal-themed costumes on a set decorated like a jungle.

Later, Katy Perry wore a plaid schoolgirl mini-skirt to sing her new single "Walking On Air", backed by dancers sheathed in white spandex waving sheets around the stage.
