Jonah Hill Weight Gain Seen On 22 Jump Street Set Photos: His Bromance With Channing Tatum Graduates To College

Actor Jonah Hill was definitely looking slimmer in last year's 21 Jump Street. The 29-year-old comedian was seen on the set of the sequel 22 Jump Street looking very much heavier than ever before.

Hill is filming with sexy actor Channing Tatum in New Orleans, Louisiana. This time they are going undercover as college students, graduating from the prequel's high school days.

21 Jump Street was filmed in 2012 and it looks like Hill gained a lot of weight in just a year's time. Did he gain weight for his role or is the actor fighting a losing battle against the bulge in real life?

Hill plays Morton Schmidt in the Jump Street movie franchise. He made headlines for losing about 40 pounds in the 2011 film Moneyball.

Standing next to a very fit and handsome Tatum makes Hills' weight gain all the more evident. The crime-fighting duo goes to college in this sequel.

The 33-year-old Tatum is a new dad. He was seeing wearing a sporty football shirt at the film set. He plays Greg Jenko and from the looks of his set costume, his character is going undercover as a college football player.

The movie's main characters, Schmidt and Jenko, are old classmates who meet once more while training as police officers. Hill's Schmidt character is a nerd who is obsessed with rapper Eminem while Tatum's Jenko character is the slow-witted yet very popular jock.

Neil H. Moritz, the film's producer, has officially declared there is a lot of positive energy in the movie set. Both Hill and Tatum were seen driving around in a helmet-shaped vehicle with big grins on their faces.

21 Jump Street and its soon-to-be-released sequel is adapted from the highly popular 80s television show, 21 Jump street. It ran in to the late 80s to the early 90s and starred A-lister Johnny Depp.

22 Jump Street is expected to be shown in theaters by June of 2014.
