MacBook Pro Retina Display 2013 Release Date: October 22 Event By Apple Expected To Launch OS X Mavericks, Mac Pro And New iPads, No Word On MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro Retina Display 2013 release date has been speculated to be at the same date that Apple will launch the MacPro and the new iPads. The release date for the new MacBook will also see the unveiling of the availability schedule of the OS X Mavericks. It seems, however, that after months of hearsays and rumors, the highly-anticipated MacBook Pro doesn’t look like it’s coming on Apple’s October 22 event.

According to All Things D, Apple will hold an iPad event on October 22 and will also be making available on the said date the new Mac Pro and the new iPads. The report did not mention if the new MacBook Pros will be released.

The MacBook Pro line is the only product line between the iMac and MacBook Air that has yet to have the new line of Intel’s quad-core processors codenamed “Haswell.” It’s expected that the new set of MacBook Pros, which was reported earlier to be launched in October 15, then updated to October 22, will be powered by these chipset.

Numerous complains have risen from the delay on the MacBook Pro Retina Display with Haswell processors, as there are many MacBook Pro Retina Display fans seemingly determined to purchase the upcoming laptop.

There could still be hope, however, that the new MacBook Pros may arrive on October 22. According to Gotta Be Mobile, just a day after the new iPhones were launch, Micah Singleton of Current Editorial claimed that the October 22 event of Apple will include the launch of the highly anticipated Haswell-powered laptop.

“The Mac line has not been forgotten, as the late-2013 editions of the MacBook Pro and Mac Mini will be announced during the event, according to our sources. Both computers will receive Intel’s Haswell processors as part of their update,” Singleton writes in his article, as reported by Gotta Be Mobile.

In an earlier report by the International Business Times, if the 2013 MacBook Air is any reference to the features of the new MacBook Pros, the laptop could have 12 hours of battery life with the new chipset. As the Business Times reported, MacBook Pro users can now expect a full day of work without needing to charge their Apple laptop.

Another rumored spec for the new MacBook Pros is faster wi-fi. MacBook Air offered 802.11ac WiFI, which basically means faster connectivity. If the same WiFi configuration comes to the new MacBook Pros, we will only see faster connectivity and better online performance for the flagship laptop.

The recently released MacBook Airs offers additional storage with faster performance. The trend is expected to continue on its MacBook Pro counterpart, upgrading it not only in speed but also in storage capacity.
