Upcoming Android Phones 2013: HTC Unveils Entry Level Phone In China With 5" Display

A week after HTC unleashed its first phablet to hit the market, the Taiwanese manufacturer has now unveiled another one - this time aimed at the Chinese market. If you live within the region and you're searching for upcoming Android phones for 2013, then this can be a good option.

Dubbed as the Desire 709d, the device features a 5" qHD Super LCD2 display, a Snapdragon 200 chipset, a quadcore 1Ghz Cortex-A5 processor, and 1GB of RAM.

The new Android device also has a decent 8MP shooter and a 2.1MP front camera, both capable of shooting and recording 1080p videos. The Desire 709d also has an 8GB internal memory with support for microSD expansion.

HTC's newest phone boasts a 2,100mAh battery, BoomSound speakers, and Android Jelly Bean out of the box. Similar to the One max, Beats Audio branding is also missing from the phone's back cover.

No pricing details were yet available, but for now the device seemed to be an exclusive in China.
