Miley Cyrus Reaches #1 Spots In Two Prestigious UK Music Charts; Did Something Good Come Out Of Her Heartbreak?

Despite news of being heartbroken, Miley Cyrus shows that she is still a star for her album 'Bangerz' as well as her latest single 'Wrecking Ball' has topped United Kingdom's Official Album Chart and Official Singles Chart lists at the same time.

The former Disney star has been criticized for a series of raunchy deeds that she did previously. Apart from her infamous tongue-wagging and body-grinding performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in August, her controversial 'Wrecking Ball' music video did not stop fans and even celebrities from giving their two cents.

Nonetheless, such acts paved way for an efficient marketing strategy. The 'Hannah Montana' star thanked her fans in UK for the surprise that welcomed her: "I truly appreciate the love I'm getting from the UK."

"Not only is this my second Number 1 single, but even more amazing is my album has also gone in at Number 1! I can't wait to be back in the UK next month," she told she told Official Charts.

The 'So Undercover' star had to compete with other famed musicians including One Republic for their song 'Counting Stars', Eminem for his 'Berserk' single, and Conor Maynard for his 'R U Crazy'. Eminem placed second followed by One Republic and Conor Maynard.

Liam Hemsworth's ex-girlfriend is the first singer to top both of UK's charts for the year 2013.
