‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Movie Cast Currently In Amsterdam For Filming [PHOTOS]: Author John Green Delighted To Be With The ‘Actual’ Augustus And Hazel

The whole cast and production team of 'The Fault in Our Stars' is currently staying in Amsterdam to continue the filming of John Green's highly-acclaimed novel. Included in the trip is Green himself who cannot hide his excitement for the upcoming flick which revolves around the love story of two cancer-stricken teenagers.

Photos of the lead stars Ansel Algort and Shailene Woodley are similarly released which thrilled the fans of the book. Algort will breathe life to Augustus Waters whereas Woodley will play the role of Hazel Grace Lancaster.

Green previously lived in Amsterdam, the same place where he finished penning the novel.

On his Facebook page, the 'Looking for Alaska' writer expressed his eagerness for the project:  "Amsterdam is beautiful even in the rain. It's so strange and wonderful to be back here not just imagining Hazel and Gus but kinda WITH them. I don't think anything like this will ever happen to me again so I made a point today just to watch Shailene and Ansel sitting on a bench together staring out at the canal. And I remembered being on a train in Holland, writing the words they were saying...anyway, it's hard to describe, but I'm so grateful to everyone who made the movie and everyone who made it possible by loving the book."

Since the first day of filming, Green has been with the production team which allows him to provide tidbits to his continuously growing fan base.
