Joseph Morgan Excited To Find Out How Klaus Will Deal With An Impending Fatherhood In ‘The Originals’ PLUS Spoilers For The Third Episode

Despite his absence in 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 5, viewers cannot help but be excited for the vampire program's spin-off series, 'The Originals', because of villain Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan).

The vampire-werewolf hybrid claims that the newest episode of the series entitled 'Tangled Up in Blue' will keep fans hooked. The English actor reveals that he has always been intrigued with vampires long before 'The Vampire Diaries': "I watched a lot of films, read a lot of books, and you know, just kind of immersed myself in it, so in many ways it was a dream job going into this. I just had to familiarize myself with the particular mythology of Mystic Falls."

Although the storyline of 'The Originals' revolves around the history of Mystic Falls, Morgan adds that it is different from 'The Vampire Diaries': "They've taken my favorite elements of The Vampire Diaries and made a new show with them. And I've always loved working with Claire Holt and Daniel Gillies. There's an older, darker, edgier side to The Originals. I'm looking forward to playing how Klaus deals with impending fatherhood."

In the third episode of the spin-off series, viewers will witness a masquerade ball that siblings Klaus and Rebekah (Claire Holt) attend. Morgan says that the party will be exciting as it will involve an unusual drama.
