Pop  star Justin Bieber is allegedly caught lighting up a joint in a party together with a girl who looks like Ariana Grande. However, Grande's camp has already denied the 'Almost Is Never Enough' singer's association with Bieber in the suspicious photo.

If the photo is authentic, it will be the second time for the ex-boyfriend of Selena Gomez to be caught with cannabis. Earlier this year, a photo has circulated showing the Canadian singer smoking a joint at a Newport Beach party.

Friends of Bieber including Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus have been quick to defend him by posting jokes about the issue.

Despite the issue in the latest photo's veracity, the 19-year-old singer's mother, Pattie Mallete, has previously expressed her concern on her son's behavior: "If it affects the world the way it does, imagine how it affects me as a mom seeing these headlines, I have to talk to him and have our conversations. We talk about the things that he is going through. We talk about the pressures that he is under and what people are saying and how he feels about it and the questionable things that people are saying that he is doing. We talk and he knows what I think...I definitely am a mom first and I care deeply about what how he is feeling and what he is going through."
