Pokemon X And Y Rumor [PHOTO]: Generation VII Confirmed? Will Legendary Trio Be Downloadable Content?

Pokemon X and Y have been released, and rumors continue to persist about Easter Eggs within the 3DS releases.

One of the rumors is that within Pokemon X and Y, a new region is already being teased that could lead to Generation VII of the Pokemon series.

In the image above, the NPC says he comes from a place that is not any of the regions introduced thus far in the games.

The more popular theories about this Easter Egg is that the NPC is either alluding to Generation VII, or some sort of Downloadable Content where a new region is introduced.

And regarding DLC, Pokemon X and Y seems to be holding back on the number of legendary Pokemon within the Kalos Pokedex.

So far, a Kalos legendary trio has not been seen, although Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres do appear in X and Y and could be Game Freak's substitute.

"Now that would irritate me. I want them to break tradition, but not like this," writes TranquillSea on Gamefaqs.

So far, though, only 69 new Pokemon have been seen in the Pokedex.

But, fans are hopeful that Pokemon X and Y will provide future DLC with more legendaries to add to the Pokedex, and perhaps more Mega Evolutions as well.
