Skate America 2013 TV Schedule, Live Stream, And The Competitors: Ashley Wagner, Mao Asada, Daisuke Takahashi, Meryl Davis, Charlie White, And More!

The 2013 to 2014 Grand Prix figure skating season is heating up, and the first major Grand Prix event, Skate America will see skaters like Ashley Wagner, Mao Asada, and Daisuke Takahashi.

As fans know, figure skating coverage is getting more and more niche and hard to find these days, but NBC, Icenetwork, and Eurosport are some places where Skate America 2013 will be showing live either through TV coverage or live stream.

"NBC will kick-off their season-long coverage of the ISU Grand Prix Series with two hours live at Skate America from 4-6 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, Oct. 20," says the official press release by U.S. Figure Skating.

"Icenetwork.com will stream live coverage of the entire Grand Prix Series on a subscription basis. NBC will carry same-weekend coverage of the remaining Grand Prix events, while Universal Sports will broadcast live and delayed coverage throughout the Grand Prix season."

If you do have access to Icenetwork, the live broadcast schedule for Skate America 2013 is as follows:

Friday, Oct. 18
7:00 p.m.: Men's short program
8:45 p.m.: Short dance

Saturday, Oct. 19
12:00 p.m.: Pairs short program
1:30 p.m.: Ladies short program
7:00 p.m.: Men's free skate
9:00 p.m.: Free dance

Sunday, Oct. 20*
2:30 p.m.: Pairs free skate
7:30 p.m.: Skating Spectacular

The ladies free skate occurs at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, will be shown live on NBC instead of on Icenetwork.

For a list of competitors for Skate America 2013, click here. Withdrawals include Denis Ten, Evan Lysacek, and Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres. Jason Brown is replacing Evan Lysacek, while Margaret Purdy and Michael Marinaro are replacing James and Cipres.
