Swansea City will face off against rival Sunderland on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.
Swansea City, coming out of a 2-0 loss to Southampton, is expected to be the favorite in the match.
Swansea City Manager Michael Laudrup is hopeful Wales captain Ashley Williams will soon make his return from injury, but is not prepared to rush the defender back., BBC Sports.com reports.
"I wanted to have him back for this game, but I wanted first of all to have him back 100% [fit] when he's playing," Laudrup told the website.
"With Ashley it's not a very serious one, but it's one if you're not careful it could be a little chronic... and we knew that already, weeks ago."
Sunderland, coming out of a 2-1 loss to Manchester United, is slated as the underdog in the match but is rumored to give Chelsea good competition.
Sunderland Manager Gus Poyet, new to the position, said money won't be an issue for the upcoming game and ongoing tournament.
"My idea is to assess the players that are here and make sure I check them properly - which ones are down, which ones want to be here and which ones can help me," he told SkySports.com
"I will learn things this way. And then, depending on what I see in the next month or two, I will talk to the owner."
