Spellbinding actress Alyssa Milano was one of the original cast members of WB’s long-running witch series, “Charmed,” which is about to get a reboot on CBS.

Vulture magazine reported that CBS is working on a re-imagining of the WB witch series "Charmed." Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan are not thrilled.

“Charmed” ran on WB from 1998 to 2006. The original series starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan.

Hollywood Reporter said that CBS committed to a new “Charmed” script by Chris Keyser and Sydney Sidner to compete in the growing horror trend on TV like FX's "American Horror Story: Coven" and Lifetime's "Witches of East End," The "Party of Five" co-creatorser are set to co-executive produce the reboot of the Aaron Spelling drama about four witchy sisters who battle evil.

The remake of “Charmed” might not get picked up, but with the new spate of supernatural shows, like ha – “Supernatural” and “The Originals,” it’s an easy winner.

Alyssa Milano thinks “Charmed” inspired the new shows. She said "I think really it's due to the success of “Charmed” and the fact that it had so much success even after it was done, meaning that people looked for it, people searched it out and watched those episodes over and over. The “Charmed” fans are the greatest fans on the planet and the most loyal fans on the planet. I feel like networks are trying to replicate that."
