House Of Cards Season 2 Spoilers [VIDEO]: Will Peter Russo Return As A Ghost?

"House of Cards" season 2 may be close to a release date in the spring, but fans are still clamoring for spoilers on the upcoming season.

Recently, an interesting theory has appeared online regarding Peter Russo (played by Corey Stoll) and a possible return in season 2.

As "House of Cards" fans know, Peter Russo was killed by Frank Underwood in season 1, but according to TVLine founder Michael Ausiello, perhaps the character will make a cameo appearance...as a ghost.

"I have a hunch Frank is going to get a ghostly visit from Corey Stoll's late Peter Russo at some point. I can feel it in my bones," writes Ausiello.

The TV gossip columnist also interviewed the cast of "House of Cards," including Stoll, Michael Kelly and Christina Gallagher, and they did their best to not divulge any spoilers about season 2.

In addition, spoilers also confirm that "House of Cards" season 2 will have two new directors on board in the form of cast members Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.

According to Design & Trends, it seems in addition to playing Underwood and his wife Claire, Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright will direct episodes of season 2.

This could be a move in response to David Fincher stepping down from the director's chair and only remaining on board as executive producer. This will also be Robin Wright's directorial debut.
