Does Zayn Malik have a nerdy side? In a recent interview, Zayn Malik revealed his latest hobby, and we think it makes a great Christmas present idea for Perrie Edwards to get her boyfriend, Zayn Malik.

"I've got really into reading again," Zayn Malik told Unreality TV. "Some books have a huge impact on me. Plus, when I'm reading more, my songwriting improves - I think my vocabulary gets a little wider and it makes me feel more creative."

We think this is great, Zayn! If reading is helping your songwriting, then we hope you're reading every day because we want to hear more songs! We love this nerdy side of Zayn.

"I always take my books away with me, as well as my laptop and my phone. I'd be totally lost without them. Those and clothes are all I need," Zayn added.

Meanwhile, Niall Horan revealed recently that his favourite hobby on the road is catching up on all his sleep.

Zayn performed earlier this week with One Direction in Melbourne, and the band will soon wrap up their tour in Australia.

One Direction will be back in the UK in just a few week's time. We bet Perrie Edwards is counting down the days to be reunited with her fiance!
