PS4 Release Date News: 'Angry Birds: Star Wars' Arriving To Sony PlayStation 4 For $49.99; Xbox One Version Also Coming

Beginning on the PS4 release date, gamers will also be able to get Angry Birds Star Wars.

The Sony PS4 release date is just days away from now and gaming fans are not only excited with the arrival of the latest PlayStation console, but also the games compatible with it. Thus, it is not surprising at all that lately, the gaming world has heard announcements from game developers regarding its release plans for their respective PS4 games.

One of the freshest announcements came from Rovio, the creator of thee hit game, Angry Birds. According to the game developer, as posted on Gamer Headlines, Angry Birds Star Wars will be available for next-generation consoles too, meaning on Sony's PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's Xbox One.

Activision will be the publisher of Angry Birds Star Wars and on October 29, it launched the 3DS, PS3, PC, PlayStation Vita, Wii U and Xbox 360 versions of the game. The original version of the game was made available on November 8, 2012 for mobile devices using iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle, Windows Phone platforms. In Angry Birds Star Wars, players take the role of Luke Skywalker, who needs to fight the Pigs. 

According to Gamer Headlines post, The"Angry Birds: Star Wars" PS4 version will offer 20 new exclusive levels, aside from the 200 levels available from the mobile version. The post further reads, "Rovio has added also competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes. The PS4 version of Angry Birds: Star Wars will benefit from the DualShock 4 controller's touchpad precision."

Furthermore, Angry Birds Star Wars PS4 versin will have full compatibility support for PlayStation Move both in multiplayer and single player modes.

Meanwhle, Xbox One players can use the Kinect 2.0 motion controls and voice commands when playing Angry Birds Star Wars. 

Angry Birds Star Wars PS4 and Xbox One versions will be available for $49.99. The games will be available together with each upcoming console on their respective launch dates. The official PS4 release date is set for November 15 in North America.
