HSBC Golf Championship 2013: Current Leader Dustin Johnson “Definitely Happy” After Setting A Course Record, Rory McIlroy Falls Down The Top Spot

After the second day of the 2013 HSBC golf championship in Shanghai, Dustin Johnson shot a 63 to set a course record in Sheshan Golf Club and take the top spot coming in to the third round.

"I'm definitely happy with where I'm at," the leader said after over taking Rory McIlroy who also did an impressive 65 in the first round of the tournament.

The Irish golfer told reporters that he didn't like what happened in the second round after a bad back nine where he didn't like the shots that he took.

"Just one of those things," the 24-year old golfer said with frustration. "I hit a couple of bad shots and I started to doubt myself sometimes. Didn't hit a lot of quality shots on the back nine."

Johnson's 12-under-par second round finish was said to start from his drive and good iron shots.

"I drove the ball really, really well for two days and for me that's a big key," Johnson said. "I hit a lot of good iron shots and though it's tough to get close to these holes I made a lot of nice 10 to 15-footers." Dustin

Bubba Watson who is currently in third place after shooting a 69 following a 68 first round score, said that he is just enjoying the place and the game taking the game one shot a time.

"Everything about the trip has been beautiful. Malaysia last week (CIMB Classic) and then here. It's perfect," the 2012 Masters Champion said.

Bo Weekley who finished seven under par to be on fourth place after the second round seemed to be harsh about answering the interview after shooting a 67 on the second day.

Interviewers asked him what other things did he see in China aside from the airport and hotel he answered, "You said it exactly, hotel, golf course. I'm all right. I don't need to see nothing."
