Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: Futuristic Specs For New Phablet Include Wireless Charging & Next Gen Camers With Anti-Shake Feature

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date may still be a bit far off but predictions for the device has the trappings of everything futuristic. According to two reports, centerpiece updates for the high-end handset includes wireless charging and next-gen cameras that will make it look like you took images with a tripod.

ET news has reported that Samsung is looking at a better version of wireless charging technology that uses magnetic resonance and it will apparently build it into future smartphones. Tech Radar also noted that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 maybe the first Samsung device to harness the power of true wireless charging.

Magnetic resonance wireless charging enables the device to be charged without being connected to a “source” object in order to power up. The charge flow will be able to reach the device as long as it is within a certain distance, Tech Radar explained.

The report by ET News said that the South Korean tech giant could start using the technology as soon as mid-2014. If in case it materializes, this means it will be available in time for the release date of Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

In an earlier report this month by Phone Arena, it noted that Samsung is working on a 13MP camera for next year’s models, one that will take outstanding pictures in low-light conditions and will even have an “anti-shake” feature that will keep photos and videos looking as if they were taken using a tripod.

The rumored camera spec will be able to correct an angular error of up to 1.5 degrees, while most digital cameras currently in the market is only able to fix errors of up to 0.7 degrees. The report said that the new camera sensor will begin production early next year and will probably be made available in the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
